Apartment

Sized for an apartment: up to 65 lighting points, 10 thermostats and 25 devices among shades, gates and blinds, with unlimited sensors and generic controls. The license can be upgraded to a higher tier at any time.

What the driver does

The Virtual Coding driver natively integrates the KNX bus within Crestron Home processors, with no need for an external supervisor or gateway: KNX and Crestron Home communicate directly, with bidirectional control and synchronization of device status.

Supported devices

• Lighting: On/Off, Dimmable, RGB, RGBW
• Shades, Gates/Doors/Awnings, Blinds (with and without adjustable slats)
• Thermostat, Thermostat with shift, Dehumidification, Fan coil management (3 or 5 speeds and Auto) and underfloor heating
• Sensors: contact, window/door, temperature, humidity, electrical power (Wh/kWh/kW), generic device
• Switch (1-bit with feedback) and Push button (1-bit without feedback)
• Free sending of KNX telegrams on the bus

Fast configuration

• Direct import of the ETS project (.knxproj, compatible with ETS 5.x and 6.x): all group addresses are immediately available in the graphical interface, with no manual entry
• The project file is processed locally on the processor and never leaves the installation: no data is sent to external servers
• Creation of Crestron objects one by one or in bulk ("Bulk Add"), with automatic recognition of the feedback associated with each command
• Ability to save/export the configuration for backup or for a lab pre-configuration to be quickly imported on site

Advanced features

• No additional hardware to install: the driver runs natively inside the Crestron Home processor, with no need for a dedicated external server or box
• No parallel app: the end customer keeps using only the Crestron Home app, with no need to install, configure or learn an additional application
• Customizable summary screens by device type, which can also be grouped by room or floor - for example, all the thermostats on one floor in a single screen, or all the shades in one room
• Advanced meta parameters to customize the value scale, feedback inversion, fan speed mapping and display formatting

Single license per processor/supervisor; a free DEMO mode is available with no functional limits, subject to a common time limit. To request the DEMO license, registration on the website and submission of the relevant request with the required details are necessary.
