This is expected behavior due to the Crestron Home architecture. Although the original KNX file may contain room subdivisions, objects created within the driver cannot be automatically assigned to the Crestron project areas.

Solution: After saving the configuration in the driver, open Crestron Home Setup, go to the "Pair Devices" section, select the desired room in the right panel, and manually add the devices (listed under the KNX driver) by pressing the "+" button.

Currently, the Crestron Home SDK "Natively" supports only lighting for automatic integration in scene menus. Other devices (Shades, HVAC, Sensors) are defined as "Non-Native": they function perfectly in the user interface but do not appear in the automatic scene menus.

Tip: To automate these devices (e.g., a "Close All" command), use Quick Actions configurable from the "Actions & Events" menu.

This is not necessarily a technical fault. Most likely, the trial period of the license has expired. If the "License Code" field is left blank during installation, the driver operates in DEMO mode for a limited time.

Once the trial expires, the driver stops communicating. To restore continuous operation, you must purchase a valid license by providing the MAC Address of your Crestron processor and enter it in the driver settings.

The address consists of the Crestron processor's IP address followed by the configured port (default 9516). Always verify these two critical points:

• The address must be typed as http:// (e.g., http://192.168.1.10:9516) and NOT https://.
• In the "IP ADDRESS" field within Crestron Home Setup settings, you must enter the IP address of the KNX Gateway/Router, not the IP of the Crestron processor.

To avoid losing the work already done, never remove the existing driver from the project. Follow this procedure:

1. Upload the new driver file via FTP to the folder: /user/ThirdPartyDrivers/Import/.
2. From the driver settings in Crestron Home Setup, press the "Check for Driver Update / Disable" button.

This will update the software while keeping all existing configurations and room assignments intact.
